Club members put in a great deal of energy and effort to host our 22nd Superstition Mountain Rotary Club Annual Fundraiser Golf Tournament on December 17, 2022. Everyone's contribution to this project is highly valued. Great work, everyone! The club also appreciates and thanks our Corporate, Major and Tee sponsors. Their support is greatly appreciated. Funds raised from the tournament' will be used to help support community service needs, projects and scholarships that the Club is involved in helping throughout the year.
 
 
 
Superstition Mountain Rotary Club participates annually in helping support the Salvation Army's 'red kettle' bell ringing community service project. Since 1891 the Salvation Army has been hanging 'red kettles' at local businesses during the weeks before Christmas and providing opportunities for the public to make contributions --- funds which are used to help the most vulnerable in local communities.
 
 
Club Member Natalie Ackerly delivered the club's donations of teddy bears and stuffed animals to Superstition Mountain Harley, on behalf of the Club. Club members collected teddy bears and stuffed animals for several weeks in support of 'Trolls Teddy Bear Run which occurred on the 1st Saturday of December. 
 
'Trolls Teddy Bear Run' organization is a 501(c)3 focused on providing stuffed animals/teddy bears for police, first-responders and family advocacy centers, to have on hand so they can provide a 'fuzzy friend' to children encountered during traumatic situations. Often times, young children involved in these situations can be quite upset and traumatized. Being able to receive a 'fluffy/fuzzy teddy bear /animal friend' from the first responder can help to ease the tension and trauma the young child is experiencing. 2022 is the 7th year for 'Trolls Teddy Bear Run', which occurs on the 1st Saturday in December each year. Motorcycle riders participate in the event, riding through a course with various stops throughout the East Valley, where raffles, prizes, food and more await them - making it a fun day for all the riders.
