Kayla Fulmer, Marketing and Communications Director for the City of Apache Junction, shared information about many events, developments, and upcoming happenings in the local area. Those attending found it very informative.
Our speaker was Club member Bill Pettus, who spoke about his personal experiences as a 'railroader'. Any time Bill presents to the Club it is always a very entertaining speech and all attending have a good time hearing his interesting stories.
Also attending were Larry Caywood from Gold Canyon Methodist Church Food Bank and Erik Arriola from Superstition Community Food Bank. Both Larry and Erik shared information about how needs at their respective food bank facilities have grown over the past year, as people have been impacted by the rising costs of food and living expenses. The Club presented each of the gentlemen with a check to help support their food banks.

Dr Jacob Boehme PT, DPT, Clinic Director of Gold Canyon's Moore Physical Therapy and Moore Fitness was our speaker. Moore Physical Therapy has offices in Tempe, Mesa, and Gold Canyon. The Gold Canyon Moore Physical Therapy office has served the local community for several years.
Recognizing the needs of individuals to achieve life-long good health and fitness, Moore Physical Therapy recently opened Moore Fitness which provides the tools, guidance, and community needed to reach a wide range of health goals. While the facility has traditional gym/fitness center type of equipment, the center also provides services and benefits, such as measured accountability to achieve fitness goals, assisted mobility stretching, group classes, customized plans, education, and guidance for a wide range of health goals. While physical therapy is a critical health tool for individuals, maintaining lifetime fitness is also very critical in helping to prevent disease, maintaining strength, and being healthy.
