We had a very productive Club Assembly. Several business items were discussed, including the nomination of a President-Elect, the upcoming revision of our constitution to align with the newly revised standard constitution, and shortening the Club's name from 'Rotary Club of Superstition Mountain, Apache Junction and Gold Canyon' to 'Rotary Club of Superstition Mountain'. Club committees met briefly and reported on their discussion items and resulting action items.
Dodie mentioned several upcoming events:
-- the agenda on October 8 will be a strategic planning session, which all members are urged to attend.
-- the casino night fundraiser is on November 5
-- The Walk to end Alzheimer's is on November 8
