We were pleased to have two speakers representing the Gold Canyon Community Center. David Coward, Gold Canyon Community Inc., President/Board Member, and Christy Jenkins, Community Center Manager, shared information about the Center, located at 6021 S Kings Ranch Road - Suite 5 - Gold Canyon

Gold Canyon Community Inc. had been interested in finding a venue that would allow for the development of a meeting space/community center.  A perfect opportunity presented itself when Moore Physical Therapy (https://moorephysicaltherapy.com/gold-canyon/ ) needed to move to a larger space. The Center was able to take over their office space,  with Moore becoming a lead sponsor of the Center. Additionally, a growing number of other community businesses and individuals have gotten involved to play a role in helping to sponsor and support the Center. The Center has become a central location in Gold Canyon for various informal, fun, informative and educational group meetings. The location is also becoming a place for various senior services.

Gold Canyon Community Inc. and Center are 501(c)3 and supported by corporate/business and individual donations, and some grants. They need volunteers and additional support to continue to grow and maintain their services.
