Our visitors today were Norma Chase, guest of Brian Kabat, Roger Hacker from the city of Apache Junction who is doing a story on our club and Stephen Briggs, a representative of Congressman Paul Gosar. Our speaker Todd House was a guest of the club.
President Bryant announced that the club presented a check for $2,083 to the Community Alliance Against Family Abuse. Here CAAFA founder Sharon Stinard accepts a symbolic check from Bryant. The funds come from set asides for local charities in honor of our club speakers.
President Bryant Powell introduced our speaker, Pinal County District 5 Supervisor Todd House. Todd gave us a report on the very bullish economic and new jobs situation for Pinal County. He thinks Pinal County will see 8.5-12 billion in new economic growth over the next 3-5 years - likely the largest of any county in the U.S.

The Phoenix Mart - an international products showcase in Casa Grande. 1.5 million sq. ft. 300 vendors so far each at a minimum investment of $500,000. 3,000 new jobs.
Tractor Supply Distribution Center - 350 jobs
Pinal Air Park - future relief airport for PHX Sky Harbor. FedEx and UPS and other by air shippers will use it.
Union Pacific Classification Yard - Picacho
Resolution Copper Mine - Superior 3,700 jobs
Available open land for siting large scale solar energy generating farms
Possible new north/south interstate (I-11) from Mexico to Las Vegas that skirts Phoenix
