1. Sharon Stinard passed around a sign-up sheet for the dictionary distribution on Thursday,November 6.  
2. Sharon distributed handouts about the EarthHeart Park Bazaars to be held on the first Saturdays of the month Nov-Apr from 9 AM to 2 PM. Produce and foodstuffs will be for sale as well as arts and crafts.  Musical entertainment and wellness demonstrations are also part of the bazaars. This is an activity of Mountain Health and Wellness in partnership with City of AJ, Cenpatico and SACA.
3. Harvey Clark passed around a sign up sheet to sell beer at the Festival of the Superstitions. Eight volunteers are needed.
4. President Bryant said the Ranch Rodeo went well.  He thanked Mike Cowan for chairing it and the volunteers who worked it.
5. Gene Anderson reported on progress to date in raising the makings for 200 pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving meals at the Food Bank.
          20 pie shells or boxes of mix - so we need 180 more
          24 cans of pumpkin filling - so we need 176 more 
          46 cans of evaporated milk - so we need 154 more
6. Bill Burrows brought us the news.  On this day: In 1929, the stock market collapsed, in 1969, the Internet was born as ARPA-NET in CA, and in 1682, William Penn landed in the New World at what is now Chester, PA.
7. We inducted 3 of our newest Rotarians with a new, ramped up ceremony thanks to Steve Gable and Bryant.  Dana Hawman, Brian Kabat and Heidi Golemon received their new member packets and a framed copy of the "Four-Way Test" (Thanks Steve for doing that).  Former club presidents Sharon Stinard, Jim Erickson and Aaron McDermid addressed the inductees on the importance of Rotary and the expectations of new members. NOTE: My photos of the induction and of our speaker were lost. (&%$#@"+). 
8. Aaron McDermid raised some $ for the club via Happy Bucks and fines. 
9. The 50/50 drawing was worth $39 today.  Ed Shockley won the drawing and $10 but drew the deuce of diamonds.
