  • President Matt Ruppert shared an email from Rod Daniels. During Polio Week, District 5510 raised more than $9000 in pledges. With the Gates Foundation match, that’s nearly $30,000 from our district that will be used to help complete the eradication of polio.
  • CAAFA and SALT also sent thank you notes for donations from the Superstition Mountain Rotary.
  • Mike Munion requested that our Canadian brothers and sisters contact him for information about our annual golf tournament that they can then place in the newsletters in their home clubs. It is our hope that the information will reach some fellow Rotarians who would like to plan their Arizona visit to be able to participate.
  • The club still needs a president-elect for next year. We are looking for volunteers to fill the position.
  • Tracey Yamamoto won the drawing and $10 but missed the joker so the pot grows.We are down to 21 cards so your chances next week will be 1 in 21.
